Steve L. Yagla, P.E. Vice-President of Engineering	Steve joined H. A. Phillips & Co. in 2003. He has over 17 years experience in commercial and industrial product development and project management. His engineering background is in refrigeration systems and heat transfer. He earned BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota, as well as an MBA from the University of Wisconsin. He is a member of ASHRAE, IIAR and RETA and sits on the Board of Directors of the Chicago RETA Chapter. Steve holds a PE license in the State of Illinois.

Michael Golden Vice President of Sales & Marketing	Michael is VP of Sales and Marketing. His prior experience includes working with major property & casualty insurance companies where he held executive level positions in operations, sales and marketing. He has worked with companies in Saudi Arabia, South America, Europe, Asia and the US. In his role as Director of The International Safety Academy, a Risk Management consulting and education firm, Michael assisted domestic and international companies establish and maintain their specialized operation and sales management programs. He was the Plant Manager for a medium size manufacturing company in Houston, Texas. Michael has held chief officer positions in municipal and government fire service organizations and is an ex arson investigator.

Herbert Rosen Engineering Consultant	Herb Rosen worked at H. A. Phillips & Co. from 1950 to 2004. Since his retirement from full-time work, he remains active as a part-time consultant for us, coming into the office a few days a week. Herb is one of the industry's principal authorities on gas pressure recirculation systems and we feel fortunate to have his continued participation in our business. Herb is a past president of RETA National and has a lifetime of involvement with educating refrigeration engineers and technicians.

Michael Rynes Applications & Sales Engineer	Michael has been working for HA Phillips since 2008 and comes to our company with extensive experience in the pump industry, where he has held positions in Design, Applications and Sales. Michael's focus of expertise is on Phillips valves and accessories and the complete line of Danfoss industrial refrigeration equipment. Michael has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Business Management minor from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Michael is a member of RETA and IIAR.

Glen Schrot, P.E. Regional Sales Manager - Upper Midwest	Glen Schrot began working as Sales Engineer for H.A. Phillips & Co. in 2004 and currently covers the Upper Midwest Region of the U.S. as Regional Sales Manager. Glen has a lifelong history of working in the Industrial Refrigeration market in Sales, Design, Engineering and Consulting. Glen is a licensed professional engineer in Wisconsin and Texas, and is a member of ASHRAE, IIAR and RETA.

Monica Metsker Customer Service Representative	Monica Metsker has worked at H. A. Phillips & Co. since 1988. As Customer Service Representative, she handles activities ranging from quotation generation and order entry to part selection and shipping coordination.


Melissa Matejka Buyer	Melissa Matejka joined H.A. Phillips & Co. in 2005. As Buyer, she is responsible for purchasing all raw materials, components and buy/resell items. Melissa is originally from Chicago and moved to the western suburbs in 2001. She has a BS degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University.


Chris Casale Administrative Services Coordinator	Chris Casale has worked at H. A. Phillips & Co. since 2003. As Administrative Services Coordinator, she is responsible for database management, inventory management and sales management support services.


Michael R. Ryan President & Chief Executive Officer	Mike has held positions in engineering, manufacturing, quality and management since 1971. He has worked at H. A. Phillips & Co. since 1998, with initial responsibilities in management of manufacturing and quality assurance operations. He has been President since August 2005 and CEO since June 2006. Mike is originally from Tampa, Florida. He received a BS degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, additional courses in Electrical Engineering at Rutgers, and an MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi. Mike is a Certified Production and Inventory Manager and became a registered professional engineer in 1982. He is a member of ASME and ASQ, and serves on the Board of Directors of Romania Leadership Ministries as Chairman.

Mary Wright Vice-President of Human Resources	Mary began working for HA Phillips in 2009 as Human Resources Manager prior to being promoted to Vice President of Human Resources in 2011. She has owned and operated an accounting and payroll service company for over 13 years. Her responsibilities include employee benefits, insurance, ISO 9001 compliance and management of the customer service team and administrative personnel. Mary has been the corporate secretary and served on the HA Phillips Board of Directors since 2007. She is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management.

Janet L. Jones Vice-President of Finance	Janet Jones, a certified public accountant, has performed treasury management functions for H. A. Phillips & Co. since 1986. She prepares the Company's monthly financial statements, supervises accounting personnel and directs corporate-level financial analysis activities as well as income tax compliance.
