Steve Yagla
Vice-President of Engineering & Sales
Steve joined H. A. Phillips & Co. in 2003.  He has over 14 years experience in commercial and industrial product development and project management.  His engineering background is in refrigeration systems and heat transfer.  He earned BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota, as well as an MBA from the University of Wisconsin.  He is a member of ASHRAE, IIAR and RETA and sits on the Board of Directors of the Chicago RETA Chapter.  Steve holds a PE license in the State of Illinois. 

Herbert Rosen
Engineering Consultant
Herb Rosen worked at H. A. Phillips & Co. from 1950 to 2004.  Since his retirement, he remains active as a part-time consultant for us.  He is truly one of the industry's principal authorities on gas pressure recirculation systems and we feel fortunate to have his continued participation in our business.

Monica Thomsen
Customer Service Representative
Monica Thomsen has worked at H. A. Phillips & Co. since 1988.  As Customer Service Representative, she handles activities ranging from quotation generation and order entry to part selection and shipping coordination.

Chris Casale
Administrative Services Manager
Chris Casale has worked at H. A. Phillips & Co. since 2003.  As Administrative Services Manager, she is responsible for customer service management, database management and general office supervision.

Melissa Matejka joined H.A. Phillips & Co. in 2005.  As Buyer, she is responsible for purchasing all raw materials, components and buy/resell items.  Melissa is originally from Chicago and moved to the western suburbs in 2001.  She has a BS degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University.

Michael R. Ryan
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mike has worked at H. A. Phillips & Co. since 1998. He has held positions in engineering, manufacturing and quality since 1971. Mike’s responsibilities included managing the Company’s manufacturing and quality assurance operations and has been President since August 2005.

Mike is originally from Tampa, Florida. He received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi. Mike is a Certified Production and Inventory Manager and has been a registered professional engineer since 1982. He is a member of ASME and ASQ.

Janet L. Jones
Vice-President of Finance
Janet Jones, a certified public accountant, has performed treasury management functions for H. A. Phillips & Co. since 1986.  She prepares the Company's monthly financial statements, supervises accounting personnel and directs corporate-level financial analysis activities.
